Kiln Cottage Collective is a brand steeped in memory, meaning, and the quiet beauty of things made to last. From the very beginning, we approached this project not just as a visual identity, but as a deeply personal reflection of Monica’s story. The oval frame emblem was inspired by the jewelry she crafts, chosen to symbolize the heirloom quality she hoped to weave into her business. The floral bouquet illustration holds its own significance, with each bloom thoughtfully selected to represent her family. Even the colour palette holds intention, with shades named after moments and places that hold weight in her life.

To ensure the brand felt truly one-of-a-kind, we customized the typography by hand, refining each letterform so that the final wordmark couldn’t belong to anyone else. The result is a brand identity that feels both timeless and deeply personal: a visual home for Kiln Cottage Collective that mirrors the heart and history behind it, and will continue to grow alongside the legacy she’s building.
