the process
I’m Becca, the artist and designer behind Sojourn & Soul, and the person who will be shaping your brand with you, from the first question to the final files.
I’ve spent the last six+ years refining not just how brands look, but how they feel to live inside. I think deeply before I begin, about meaning, intention, and what needs to be said, so that when it’s time to create, the work is streamlined and purposeful.
I’ve always worked this way, (in fact I was the student who finished early in art class) not because I rush, but because I see the through-line before I touch the page.
Discernment happens up front, so the design can unfold with ease, not with excess or second-guessing.
When you work with me, you’re not passed off to a team or moved through a system. This is a one-to-one collaboration. Thoughtful, focused, and held with care for both your business and the life surrounding it.
If you value depth and clarity, you’ll likely feel at home here.
Absolutely! I'm happy to offer instalments on all my services. One due upon booking to reserve your spot in my calendar, and the other at file hand off, or in monthly payments depending on your project and the payment plan we've agreed upon.
I'm also pleased to offer Klarna for my Canadian clients!
Readiness doesn’t mean perfection.
You don’t need to have every detail solved, but you do need a working understanding of who you are, what you offer, and who you’re speaking to. The process will help refine and articulate those things, but it can’t replace personal honesty or effort.
The most successful projects come from clients who are willing to reflect, participate, and be thoughtful in the process.
Branding and websites are not bandaids for deeper issues, they’re positioning.
They won’t replace good work, relationships, or integrity. What they do is ensure that the people finding you are more aligned, informed, and more ready to say yes. When done well, your brand and website act as a filter to attract the right clients and quietly turning away the wrong ones.
Because this work is custom, and intentional. You’re not paying for templates, speed, or surface-level design. You’re investing in discernment, clarity, and craftsmanship which are things that take time, attention, and experience.
If budget is the primary deciding factor, this may not be the right fit, and that’s okay. Timing matters.
Many clients do, and that’s expected.
Each offering is designed to be complete on its own, with the option to add collateral items, pages, or expanded the scope as needed. I don't upsell unnecessarily, and nothing is added without intention.
On our initial call we’ll discuss what truly serves your business!
Very much so.
This is not a passive experience. Your insight, reflection, and voice matter deeply for the outcome. I guide the process, ask the right questions, and create the visuals. but the final work is shaped together.
If you’re looking to hand everything off with minimal involvement, this likely isn’t the right fit.
