Living Wisely Well

The Backstory

Living Wisely Well encourages women to create restful rhythms through a foundation of faith, and peace in healing the mind, body and soul by sharing resources, compiling real life stories, and providing encouragement to live wiser.

Reyna came to me knowing she had outgrown her DIY brand, and ready to outsource what she no longer had the capacity for as a Mama and creator.

The Process

We started off with a discovery call and brand questionnaire to understand Reyna’s goals, vision, audience and design preferences. This process allows us to design a brand identity and website that perfectly aligns with her vision. Through the initial discovery phase, we identified a few things that we made sure to keep top of mind as we entered the design phase:

A PLACE OF REFUGE WITHIN THE WELLNESS SPACE

While Reyna IS technically in the health and wellness space, her main goal is to provide a space where women can pause, breathe a little easier and find rest knowing they don’t have to keep chasing the ‘next thing. This meant the brand needed to stand out from the light and bright/warm neutral palettes that are so common within the holistic health space.

DEEP & RICH FEMININITY

Despite veering away from a light and neutral palette, we still wanted the brand to feel feminine, but in a deep & rich way. To accomplish this we utilized a deep burgundy as one of the main colours in the palette, which paired perfectly with the pomegranate illustration (a subtle symbol of femininity)

STREAMLINED ONLINE EXPERIENCE

One of Reyna’s pain points before working together was that her podcast and website integration was not as seamless as it could be, and she also wanted the ability to sell digital products through her website. Creating a user friendly website that made it easy to access her resources and latest podcast episodes was key.
